Serendipity

One of the songs that helped contribute to the “Pop” aspects of the album, “Serendipity” was originally written on an acoustic guitar. I had this idea of if everything worked out perfectly, what would it look like? And serendipity fit the bill. It’s a story of a girl who’s been away for a bit, going through a bit of a glow-up and she gets invited to a party. Picture a mansion with circle driveway and big doors that open up into a huge foyer. When she walks through the doors, she’s encapsulated in the freedom of having a good time. From there it’s the magic of imagination, she envisions her dream life and recognizes that it’s not that far out of reach if she truly believed in herself.
