Commitment Issues

Written in April 2022, “Commitment Issues” stemmed from a 41-second voice memo that outlined the first verse and bridge. In the era of online dating, finding someone to commit to is pretty darn challenging when they’re juggling a roster. This song really for me was a fun take on the modern dating game with some 90’s Shania style influence. I wanted something that was fun, upbeat but also really sassy and made a point.
